The Estate Shoppe

The Estate Shoppe. A hidden treasure nestled amongst the beautiful oak trees. One of our fabulous quaint cottages has been transformed into a showroom of items collected from around the historic cottages. You will find antiques, vintage items, and unique upcycled items, pieces of the past restored for the present!

Throughout the season, we are open on Saturday's 12-4 with plans for expanded hours next season. Classes also are forming for the fall around upcycled projects. Private appointments available - please contact Peg at 13ladybugs@gmail.com. Check out these handmade one-of-a-kind finds to that perfect gift!

We also accept donations of your once loved gently used items (no clothes) at any time. Please stop by, we have new stuff all the time!

Peace Fire Circle
April - October
We are honored to have a Peace Fire Circle, at the Historic Methodist Campground in Des Plaines, IL to provide a safe space for the next generation to experience the wisdom of the elders.
"Fire has been used for 1.5 million years," Marshak states in The Roots of Civilization. It is the one element that has been valued by all cultures. Fire connects us to the past. It forges a reverence for the natural world and brings back feelings of interconnectedness that have been lost. Fire is the one element that can help forge our energies in a more positive way to change the direction in which the world seems headed. Fire is the one element that connects all cultures at the heart level.
This Peace Fire is from the eternal Fire of the Potawatomi's and comes to camp for ALL people.
