Stakeholders Contribute to the Conversation
As the Historic Methodist Campground moves forward with their new vision, area stakeholders and key advisor's gathered at the Des Plaines History Center Feb 15 to discuss next steps regarding the historic campground revitalization project.
As a follow up to the 2016 workshop, participants learned more about the area and the camp's history, shared current perceptions, identified key opportunities for future use of the campground along with valuable feedback on avenues for moving forward.
The workshop was hosted by the Des Plaines History Center, and facilitated by Shift2Green.
HMC is moving towards a new vision to turn their historic 158-year old campground into the heart of our community and a leader in sustainable community development through service learning.
